“Better than a thousand hollow words, is one word that brings peace.” (Buddha)

The second lecture in the Wall of Peace lecture series reflects on one of the world’s most appealing spiritual figures. Born as a Prince destined to be King, Siddhartha Gutama renounces his claim to the throne to go in search of deeper and more personally meaningful truths. His discoveries and teachings speak profoundly to the human experience and have attracted proponents from all walks of life over the past 2000 years.

Wall of Peace
Inaugurated by Deepak Chopra in May 2007, the Wall of Peace installation at the Canadian Museum of Hindu Civilization is the first of its kind in North America. It features prominent individuals and symbols from a range of cultures and religions.

Admission: $15 ($10 for students and seniors). Please arrive early to get your tickets (doors open at 7 pm). Reserved tickets will be held until 15 minutes prior to the start of the event.
