I just had a really Bad experince in Madras Dosa Hut. Me and wife went for dinner first time we ordered Vada Sambhar/ Masala Dosa /Uttapam.

Vada in sambhar was cold, just out of freezer/Masala Dosa was burned and Uttapam was smelling egg, we just made aware server that it smell egg...they responded carelessly we cook seperate...we just tried a bite or two...but It was horrible..couldn't take it...It was the worst food we ever had..

Not to cause any trouble for server we paid first as a customer.. and than asked for manager...server connected to owner Logeswary Kubendran...the manner he talk is, Instead of being sorry or kind..he said well you can get another dosa....we told no.. we can't take it our mood is all spoiled. He never offered for refund or said sorry...

I would like to compaint in better business bureau...any one can direct me how to go about it

I went to the restaurant Nirvana in Mississauga.( south of hyw 10 and britannia ) Its little expensive compared to other restaurants and there is no buffet system.
But the food was excellent. The ambience is good, though the service is slow during weekends..

Also at Saravana Bhavan, ( hwy 10 and eglinton ) they have a buffet on sat and sunday from 10 am to noon only. Good time to enjoy lots of south indian dishes. Costs $7.99 per person.

Also try 'Dosa Corner' in the food court of 'Newin center' (Hwy 10 and Dundas intersection in Mississauga). No, there absolutely NO atmosphere, no ambience. The food court isn't exactly very clean and its sorrounded by Chinese, Korean etc etc restaurants (if you're a pure veggie, the smell may be enough to keep you away). The seating isn't very comfy either.

If you can get past all that though, the dosas are VERY good. I recently tried their new 'Mysore Veggie Dosa' and it was awesome. Unbeatable for like $6.50 or something.

There is a gujarati restaurant 'Namkeen' across Dosa Corner. I didn't like any of their ind. dishes but the 'thali' is fabulous. Also try their 'masala soda'.

FYI, Both places are veg. only. There is also a Pakistani restaurant there that has tandoori and stuff, however not sure how the food is.

You got to watch for some of these restaurants.
They make very hot dishes. A little too hot.
You know it when you can see the red chilli powder.
or eat it with a lort of yougurt/raita.

If it aint hot it aint food.

The best one for decor and ambience that I've been to is \"Nirvana\" in Mississauga. Its at an obscure spot, close to the HWY 10 / 401 intersection.

But the atmosphere is great and the food is awesome too. It is a bit more expensive than other desi restuarants, although not substiantially.

Here's a review. They also have a website with the menu, however I can't find it right now.

Ya, apla Nirvana is dash good yaar. Been there just two weeks ago. Keep going once a month. Bahut first class both veg and non veg.

It is at 35 Brunel Road next to joint called 'My apartment' (where u can go for swinging time). Have recoed to many dosts (of all nationalities-ekdum being used liberally here as many already Canadian but from diff countries of origin)and they come back ekdum satisfied. LLBO licensed bhi hai. Aur kya mangta boss. Sharaab, kabab.....

And when is this Dosa Corner actually open!? I've been there twice on weekdays and during regular business hours but it was closed both times. Any idea when it's supposed to be open? According to the times posted there, it should've been open when I went but it was not... :(
