Can anyone guide how much a decent hotel accomodation cost in GOA. Is there some way of exploring and booking a decent accomodation now from Toronto for end of January. Will appreciate your help.
Cheers!
Around 100 CAD $ per day.

If you are looking for a luxury resort it would be around Rs.4000-Rs.10,000/- per day. You can get package deals also from them.
Do a search on Google for Leela beach, Cidade De goa, Goa Renaissance Resort, Radisson, Taj Exotica, Leela Palace. These are the 4-5 star resorts. There are other resorts also available. Visit the Goa Tourism website. You'll get all sorts of budget & luxury hotel rates on it.

By the way, do visit Arambol beach. It is one of the lesser known beaches & that's why it is more fun. Not many people go there. So you can have more privacy.
Thanks & rgds.

Let's make India a better place !
As mentioned in the previous post, all the above are luxury hotels.
One thing to note is whether you plan to go to south or north Goa. South Goa is quieter, cleaner beaches, less crowds. North Goa is more of the party place with places like Tito's.
Now that the New Year season has passed the crowd even in North Goa will not be too bad.
In North Goa, you can get 2-3 star hotels with AC for around Rs. 2500/day tops. This will be an AC Double. I have stayed in these hotels, and if you pick the right one. they can be quite charming. I have stayed at upper end hotels like JW Marriotts, Park Hyatts too
Take a look at a couple of options for north Goa - Cavala (cavala.com) and Vila Goesa (vilagoesa.com). Both are in the Baga Beach area and quite nice.
A top end suite at these hotels is around 3000/day.
I really appreciate your responses. So nice of u. This is really help as I have no idea abt Goa.
Cheers!
There is nothing in goa to enjoy . it is hot & humid place . I went in november last year . Really i didnt enjoyed there . In 3-4 days you will feel bore . Better go to less known places like GANPATIPULE [ 100 km far from goa ] , go to Shrivardhan , harihareshwar . If you visit MAHARASHTRA TOURISM DEVELOPMENT BOARD'S web site you will get required info . As per me Goa is nothing but to waste money .

No wonder there are hundreds of hotels there. They are for tourists to enjoy "nothing" .
