My rationale as follows
1) Your first-hand feedback. Plus I particularly liked the idea of the course being split up into two sessions, it'll help me digest the material better.
2) UofT's reputation and also the faculty and course descriptions available online at http://www.apsc.utoronto.ca/pdcweb/asp/courseinfo.asp?CODE=PM401 You can't get that kinda detail at an institute, the trainer(s) are unknown to you. Its a bit of a gamble to be honest unless you get first-hand feedback.
3) A colleague did a course at a well known institute (that charges about the same money). His feedback was so-so. Although he didn't think it was bad, it wasn't great by any means. Also my efforts in trying to contact other institutes offering the course didn't exactly pay off. Wasn't too impressed with the amount/quality of information I got from the information counsellors.

EDIT: BL, One thing I noticed with the July session is that it is continous 6 days, as opposed to a 3 + 3. They do have some sessions which are 6 consecutive days....not quite, 'cause you get the Sunday off..
