Hi There,
I started sponsoring my spouse last august and got an acknowledgement letter last sept and my husband received a letter from the visa office in the philippines last oct 9. They asked him to submit all the original authenticated documents like our marriage certificate, birth, baptismal and Certificate of no marriage. He submitted it last Nov. 4. My question is. On the said letter, it was written that processing time is 6months for spouses. When am I going to start counting? Is it from the date I submitted my application? And my next question is.. What will happen after he submitted the documents? He did the upfront medical but I am not still certain if his medical is okay or not, they didn't tell him yet. Pls advise me.. Thanks
1. 6 months from date u submitted application.
2. he may be interviewed and/or asked to send in passport for visa issuance.

Hi Massood,
Thanks for the quick reply. Since they already asked him to submit the said documents does that means, he doesn't have any medical problems? So, it's gonna be either he'll be interviewed or be requested to submit his passport. Well again thank u..
even if he has medical problems, it won't be an obstacle for his immigration UNDER THE NEW LAW.

Hi there,
Does anybody know what is the average processing time in the Philippines? Since my spouse submitted the documents, we havent received anything from them. He submitted it on NOv 4. Is that normal? Or am I just too impatient? Thanks
