It was meant mainly for my wife. So I guess it must be 18000. Does she have to be present when I get that done? That's the most important question in my mind, which I don't know!
Can the thing be done at home for her, without her presence? Would it be benificial or not?
Thanks

Thanks Tuli,
I am gonna look at the links a bit later. A person in Southern California looked at my chart and told me to get that pooja done for rahu.
Would a Black thread be good as well? What's teel? Where can one Donate things like that?
Thanks guys
Teel is small seed like things we make laddu from them in Makar Sankranti.

My original question for this thread was the effect of Sade Sati. We derailed once again.
I haven't experienced any such thing myself. I even do not know when I had sade sati. However my dad had his most difficult period during sade sati.
I still do not believe in that theory. The good/bad is a relative term. You can consider migration to canada a bad thing becuase you are struggling with job. You can also consider migration to canada a good thing as you moved to a new country and your kids will have better future.
A life have cycles and to relate those cycles with sade sati might not be a good idea.
