I used to go to a place called Henrys run by a chinese family, its is near the east end Indian portion of the gerrard street , I think it is on Coxwell street after the no Frills.
They cut both mens and womens hair and only charge 5$.
It took me 2-3 cuts before they got used to cutting my hair and now i get really good hair cuts...
But the problem for me is now i have moved to Brampton..
Any one knows any cheap places in Brampton.

It seems haircut is cheaper than what I thought or paid in the past. I generally pay over $20 for a non-impressive haircut in Ottawa/Hull. May be it would be expensive here but just incase if someone can suggest some cheap men's barber in Ottawa/Hull would be much appreciated.

No offense but it does make sense:-
You give your hair and pay.
Someone keeps a sort of knife around your neck, orders you to move/tilt this side or that side....still you pay. And if thats the order of the day and one has to pay, why not pay less......

I don’t think 5,7 or 8$ makes too much difference if you are driving couple of miles just for haircut and waiting a hr in line.
Moreover you have to give at least a dollar in tip too.
I'll do it for $8. (You must sign a liability waiver though..) 
But seriously...Why do you guys try to save on a haircut? I tend to take the quality of my haircut pretty seriously and it's probably one of the last things that I would try to save on. I assumed that most guys would be the same.
