pksatpathy, did any other prediction by these leaf let readers came true in your case? I mean to say something you were not at all planning at that time, when you got those leaves read. (The immigration was something you had already applied for)

I know they predict whatever is going on in the present very accurately. Like in your case, it was canadian immigration (you had already applied for it and the procedure was going on, so it was present at that time). In most cases these Maharishi August Sen's leaflets tell your name, age, father's name, mother's name, brothers, sisters, education, profession, house, etc.

I am asking about the future something which was not at all in your mind even and these leaflet readers predicted and it happened exactly.

Do let me know if it happened ..................

Tuli,
He did mentioned about my life cycle step by step till the age of 70 or so.The only thing i remember he said about the near future is the start of my Raj yog from the age of 40. Still 5 yrs to go to experience it.:D

But one thing i noticed, the prediction for any good has to be happened,he always shield his statement with IFS and BUTS. I mean for eg. he says "to reduce your past life bad karma and to start your Raj yog by age of 40 you have to do this this .. things or go to the virgin temple in the southern most part of India" or something not very easily achievable. This may be correct but again it boils down to one thing
"One should believe all this or not"

Naudurivsm,

My question was not on the theory of palm readings. There are tons of books written on it. And there should be many sites with many theories.

I am trying to know from members (most of whom immigrated) that whatever written in books is true or not.

I have lifeline with two branches at end. I also have cross lines on the mount of moon.

No wonder why chadresh has lines all over!!

Do other members have same thing or different?

Smiley asked what should be considered Videsh. This should be relative. Someone living in small villege of Kerala and migrate to Mumbai - it should also be a migration. Palm lines does not know Country lines! And in the jet age, for people travel a within India there is no migration at all

For you going seattle is not Videsh Yatra for sure!!

My dad reads palm as a fun thing. It stops being fun when he looks, frowns, ponders, and after 5 minutes, says,"nothing, everything is fine"....you just know he saw something that you may not like :D

Anyway, per my dad, the books and the conclusions reached regarding the lines is based on researching thousands of people's palms and their current and past lives and thereby deriving a common trend for each of the lines.

While the lines may hold the trends as described in the books, I think people who read palms interpret those and relate it to your individual lives. In other words, interpretations are customized. For example, if I am diabetic and if my health line (if there is one like that) is only so so, then the interpreted (customized) reading would be that my diabetes might get worse.

On a side note, In aviation, there is a phrase that pilots use - "Don't chase the needle", in other words, make it a stable flight. Same thing here. I guess we shouldn't chase the lines to make the life's decision, rather, let our aspirations create the lines the way we wish to be. Apparently, what you aspire is how the lines form (to some extent).

Well, my final words - I don't know how much to believe in all these:)

Just a question . Why do all these sciences and things and superstitions come from India. Why are these not prevalent in Western countries. I mean why do americans not show their hand lines to see migration . In these countries everybody moves and migrates to new places so would all of them have same lines. Why do these people not keep "monday fasts" etc. Would they not go to heaven ...
