I got a letter for passport submission today.

I already have received mine.. I am waiting to get my passport back.. Its been 1 month since I have submitted my passport..

Kris, Did your wife received passport?

Hi Guys

Today my wife received her passport with immigration visa and all the supoorting dcuments we provided in a registered mail

so time line is

1) CIC received application on 30th MArch, 2006
2) Started processing on 6th MAy, 2006
3) Sent a letter of sponsorship approvalon 6th may itself.
4) Sent immigration application to New Delhi office on 6th May, 2006
5) Received the hardcopy of the sponsorshi approval letter on 14th May, 2006
6) New Delhi started processing on 17th May, 2006
7) Saw \"in-Process\" under immigration application on E-CAS on 22nd May, 2006
8) Receive the letter requesting passport on 25th May,2006
9) Saw "decision made" on 10th july, 2006
10) Received her passport with immigration visa and all the supoorting dcuments we provided in a registered mail

Let me be the first to congratulate you... I am happy for you ...

quick question.. The time line you mentioned reads you saw decision made on 10th July ...

Can you please correct the dates there.. I mean the day when you saw decision made and the day when you received passport...

By the way...My status changed to decision made today...

Thank you and congratulations. My wife received her passport today and I saw my E-Cas status changed today. So I am guessing E-CAS not reliable completely. I saw another post on CD saying E-cas status did changed even after they received their passport so, I was that surprised. Hope its clear. Let em know if you need any more info
