wow... isnt it cool... your status got changed and you received your passport on the same day.. dont have to wait a single day.... if Life is like that you dont need Canadiandesi.com.... kidding...

My Wife Received Passport with visa and landing papers today.. But she did not received any photos we sent them... Neither did she received any supporting document... I never heard Immigration ppl keeping supporting documents...

Thoughts .. ??

Kishor, did they sent everything in one parcel or was there a separate parcel for supporting documents..??

Well yes its strange that they kept the photographs. I hope you might have submitted secnd copy to file.
Did they kept your greeting card too...... ???????

if yes its so selfish for them to keep. I know how imp is to have the cards on in the side drawer.

which city is your home from CIC ND by the way. which date they put the stamp on ..pls share.

sorry i forgot to confirm if your ecas changed the same way as Kishor's.

Like updated to Decission made the same day when you got the passport back.

oops..I forgot.. Here are the time line

1) CIC received application on 11th APRIL, 2006
2) Started processing on 15 MAY, 2006
3) Sent a letter of sponsorship approvalon 15th MAY itself.
4) Sent immigration application to New Delhi office on 15th May, 2006
5) Received the hardcopy of the sponsorshi approval letter on 22nd May, 2006
6) New Delhi started processing on 28th May, 2006
7) Saw \"in-Process\" under immigration application on E-CAS - I dont remember.. sorry
8) Receive the letter requesting passport on 16th June,2006
9) Saw "decision made" on 10h july, 2006
10) Received her passport with immigration visa in a registered mail on 11th July 2006..
