Hey guys!
I am going to get married in the first week of February in Delhi, and planning to submit my sponsorship papers on about first week of March. But, since I haven't yet got my T4 and filed my taxes, as it's too early, should I attach all of my 2006 pay stubs? I have got each month's with me. Do you guys think it should be a better substitute of 'Option C'?
Also, if you call the immigrantion call centre, do they suggest you about any of this information?
I would really appreciate the response, if you guys have any idea of the above.
Thanks a lot again
Gurpreet...
hello gurpreet,
whe you apply, your pay stubs, original appointment letter is enough, dont worry about t4 etc, there is no minimum income requirement so just provide whatever you have. the last stub of 2006 showing ytd and latest month..eg. march, should be just fine.
cheers!!

hello gurpreet,
I think, they also seek a letter from your employer which should include your salary (annual package or per hour salary), no. of hours you work per week, and your date of joining.
All the best
Umesh
hello
i have already posted the time line, when u asked before, check then in post #24
and gurpreet i can give yousome idea wht i did wheni went to india to get married
during my visit soon after the wedding i got the wedding certificate and took that for my wife's medical which took a day...(you should ask for the sponsorship booklet which immigration canada will mail to you for no cost..get 2 or 3 copies in case some mistakes happen)
then made arrangements for her police clearence certificate from india, you can get it done from passport office too
and endorsed my name on to her passport (you can also change her sur name)
got all her signatures on the application form...
You two should sit and fill out a trial application form, because there are many questions about where she studied and where she worked.. and i was told that there shouldnt be any gap inbetween her work and study every gap has to be filled ..if was not studying or working ...just say she wasnt doing anything like that...dont leave it blank any gap...
if your wife lived abroad until age of 18 or 19 then you should get the police clearence from those countries too...
i think instead of T4 i got the option C , i just called their office and they send me a sheet of paper of all the income and tax things for free of cost.
(i think that was option c , not sure)
also i attached my payslips and employment letter stating my income, position and saying its permanent employment starting from so and so date..
and you have to be clear about your wedding and enagagment because there are many places you need to fill how and when and how many pple attended...
in terms of photo graph send atleast 10-15.. i send 5-6 and they asked for more... and in all photo graphts show relatives standing with you and your photo graphs at honeymoon and so on...
