Today my wife received the request to send her passport
so time line so far....

CIC received application on 30th MArch, 2006
Started processing on 6th MAy, 2006
Sent a letter of sponsorship approvalon 6th may itself.
Sent immigration application to New Delhi office on 6th May, 2006
Received the hardcopy of the sponsorshi approval letter on 14th May, 2006
New Delhi started processing on 17th May, 2006
Saw \"in-Process\" under immigration application on E-CAS on 22nd May, 2006
Receive the letter requesting passport on 25th May,2006

will keep posting any progress.....

Was the letter your wife received today sent by registered mail?

I am also sponsoring my wife from India and we have approx the same timeline.

CIC received application on 29th MArch, 2006
Started processing on 5th MAy, 2006
Sent a letter of sponsorship approvalon 5th may itself.
Sent immigration application to New Delhi office on 5th May, 2006
New Delhi started processing on 17th May, 2006
Saw \"in-Process\" under immigration application on E-CAS on 22nd May, 2006

My wife did not receive any information from New Delhi as yet.

I am not sure whether she received it by registered mail or no. I will let you know. I am guessing, since our timelines are the same she moght receive the request for passport some time this week or early next week. I will let you know soon. Please do the same

hi,

New delhi started processing my wife's application on 17th May....we recieved a letter on 25th May requesting us to provide some more wedding photographs of the actual ceremony...
we have already sent more pics.
does that mean my wife will be called for an interview? i hope everything is ok...

can someone suggest...
