my interview was on 26th july at new delhi. Got my visa stamped on passport on 8th of august.
Interview was really frustrating but finally i got my visa.

Hi Viks. Congrats man! Would you please tell us whether they requested you the passport first and then scheduled your interview or they asked you to submit the passport after your interview? This would certainly help us in determining on our case.

Hi Guys,

I am really looking for an expert opinion here. We have already submitted my wife's passport to CHC Delhi about a month ago. Yesterday, my wife received a packet that contained the wedding pictures and other party hall booking receipts that we submitted with her spouse visa application. We are yet to receive her visa. Is it a normal practice wherein they give you back your wedding documents after processing? Just wondering what this is all about???

Please suggest. I am a bit stressed about this packet that they sent back. May be I am unnecessarily stressed about it.

Yes they do return the pictures & other documents but generally it is so after the processing . If they have not asked anything , you may assume all is good .

If you wish you can email the Indian CHC and they generally respond back in 48 hours - better if your wife does that as she is the primary applicant & the CHC practices privacy of information .
