Where are you from and where do you want the money to go.
There are agents to send money to major cities of India. There is a $10 charge but they will give the best rates, deliver in cash in person anddeleiver in 1 business day gap.

I am currently in Toronto and want to send the money to Chandigarh (U.T.) India. Please do let me know the details, thanks!
There are operators who can deliver cash to Chandigarh. (the Transaction is prefectly legal in Canada). I am personally not aware of any person delivering to Chandigargh. Maybe some other CD can suggest. I know only for Bangalore, Chennai, Trichy, Madurai and all cities of Sri Lanka.
Please use this info. at your own risk.

TK,
how legal are these transactions in India ???
isnt it considered to be "hawaala" in india ???

I want the cultures of all the lands to be blown about my house as freely as possible.
But I refuse to be blown off my feet by any.
M4S,
Yes. It is Hawala. It is Black money, once it reaches India though fortunately not Blood Money. This money is used to buy gold and sell them to Jewellers in India. Most jewelers evade taxes in India.
That is why i cautioned to use the information at your own risk.

Sidenote : This is perfectly legal in Canada and that is why i had the courage to explain this service in CD. They take your DL information.
