With all due respect to my native country and its citizen (I am an Indian citizen too) - things that happen in India on Social, Political or Economical front do not affect my day to day life. (Unless my job gets jeoparadized due to outsourcing). My day to day life is more affected by decisions taken by Stephen Harper and his buddies.
Please excuse. Will be thankful if you can please suggest an appropriate section if these can be posted. I am not familiar with most areas of the website.

Life section should be about LIFE.. not life in Canada or USA or India just LIFE... I think that what was posted is appropriate as this does affect our life here as well why? Coz with the increase in the jobs in India, Jobs here decrease and people should be made aware of this. This is also a good way of comparing life here and what it is there for people who have not yet immigrated. I think it's fair to post this article here! !
I want to know what some indians feel about all this outsourcing to india? I know that in USA, the IT sector employs Indians and isn't it a bitter sweet feeling to see jobs going to India and realizing that you may be one to be a victim of outsourcing? Hundreds of Indians work in IBM and with this outflux of jobs, their jobs are at stake too so do they feel happy about the econimic growth of India at th expense of their jobs? Just curious as to what people think
Thanks.....

Things are heating up in India with respect to IT. But what type of jobs they are creating? Call centres, manufacturing, etc? For someone who just has a degree such as BA/B Com/BSc, they can get jobs in those professions. Someone with CS or BE degree will they get a job in the proposed expanding ventures?
