Hinduism never had a caste system. All these problems started because some one later on rewrote hindu religious books saying Brahmins evolved from the head of Vishnu and lower castes from feet etc.

Hindu religion was misused by some folks to create a feudal system.

Eitheer your comments are misguiding or I missed something !!!Nowhere does it say that apple decided to quite just because of speculation about reservation in private sector??

BUT, think of the customer service. This word is almost alien for an Indian customer in India. Why not have Indian companies setting up their call centres in India? OK, you need to tighter your consumer protection laws before setting up such facility. But just, the ultimate aim should be being self dependent rather than relying on American companies to bring their businesss in India.

Just an utopian thought!!!!!!!!!

Meghal..sorry for the confusion..
As per the new masters of OBC-land ( a country formerly known as India) ...reservations will become *MANDATORY* for all and any companies that are operating in India...

Generally it is said in Silicon Valley that what Apple does today, Others follow tomorrow... In that aspect it is good that Apple has withdrawn their staff from the OBC-land (the land of Arjun SIngh's and Miera Kumar's and a spineless weasel called Manmohan Singh)

What I meant was that its good that pvt FOREIGN companies are realizing what they have to face in OBC-land and its always good to hedge your resources all over the world... I did not say that Apple is wthdrawing their operations *because* of reservations...
