Every one of us have to do our mundane chores/shopping for groceries. There are certain shops were in due to products/pricing/ambiance you love to hang around.

The place I love to stroll around is shop called \"Home Sense\". Please visit this place and you'll know why. You would see the difference in terms of choices/presentation/pricing of various products/gifts when you compare it Walmart.

Check out their odd ball Mens section. You'll find gifts for all occassions and they stand out. Every time I'm there my credit card gets short by 50 bucks.

who would make you starve, if you don't.'"

Yes, it has plenty of stuff from India. Good stuff for presents for any occassion. It also has furniture from India, paintings, mirrors, utensils, cutlery, furnishings and seasonal stuff. I found it much better than Walmart, Sears and Ikea.

Always prowl on the back aisle where they have stuff put on clearance sale. You would always find a bargain. I found the following yesterday:

1.A nice piece of art sculpture of Buddhas head for $7.00.

2.A nice Wine Rack which was originally for $49.99 for $9.99.

3.A nice wall hanging ( a sign which looks an old tavern hoarding) at $4.99.

4.Plenty of Italian made Photo frames from $0.99 to $4.99 and the all the stuff were made in Italy.

5. A nice Wall mirror with silver framed made in Rajasthan with design at $9.99 originally costing $24.99.

There plenty of stuff for guys like an old warrior helmet worn in mediveal times for fencing, stuff for the office desk like golf style paper holder and many more.

I'll make a beeline for it tomorrow. The wine rack sounds good. Which Winner's is it at?

A place I enjoy going shopping is Niagara Falls Blvd in Buffalo where all the brand outlets are. It's just 20 minutes across the border on Rainbow Bridge at Niagara Falls.

Check it out sometime. I don't think you will be disappointed if you are into Guess, Van Heusen, Ralph Lauren and the like. Tons of stores with branded goods at bargain prices in that mall.

I had just crossed the border on Saturday to do shopping in the USA. Visited a Fashion outlet mall (1900 or so , Niagra falls blvd.). The deals were not great and definitely not worth the time and gas spent. However, as some posters have said, other individual factory outlet malls may offer a good choice. If you go along the Niagra falls blvd. (from the Rainbow bridge to Buffalo), you do have a lot of shopping places ( GTA shopping malls seem like a drop of water in the lake when compared to the shopping facilities just in this road).
I returned by the Queenston-Lewiston crossing and had to wait for 1 1/2 hours at 10:00 pm in the night. I could see that every other car was being asked to go to the customs and as I passed the customs, I could visually see about 200 people lined up. The officer asked me what I bought and I told him that I have 200 US$ worth of cloths and he did not bother to check. Also he did not ask me if I had any Electronice with me. May be that was B'cos I did not have any friends with me except family members.
Hope this helps.
