I read the valuable information by Aalok. I am going to be in Halifax soon (at a short notice). I was wondering if some can send links to some apartments and/or paying guest or room rental information. I will appreciate it. I need this information at the very earliest, as I have been told that I will have to start working there within a week.

Please provide your work location and the desired locality where you would like to find suitable accommodation and the budget associated with it.

Alternately, you can search for a suitable one from these listed ones. Some may have been taken already. So, call them and see if they are still vacant. After you get there, Visit the area first. Then see the neighborhood, drive around the block once or twice to see if it is a good area. Short list them and then call and see if the land lord sounds o.k. The rest should fall in place.

Dear Alok ji,

Before giving Canada a bye-bye I was wanting to see and explore Halifax as last resort to settle permanently.

I find property is cheap than stupid ovrflated BC where Chinese and drug money seems to overflate the real estate market.

I need to know about export jobs, I have courier, export, marketing, trading and minerals expewreince I hope I can fit in easily. What do u say.

Also is there a Hindu temple there nearby. Thats a must. As for Indian grocery once I am there Ican get anything you need even masalas to hing as thats my speciality.

i moved here recently and im not really liking it. there are no brown ppl which i am not use to since i moved from a part of canada that has loads! definitely a big change for me, good in a way that now i focus more on school than other things. ...cant wait to move back haha
