Hi Leena,
heard your some of the tracks just now along with my wife and found your voice quality very good.Infact you have an excellent high pitch. With some classical base training you can excel in the multi-variation song track.Infact I enjoyed the track "agar tum na hote"with low melodious tone mixing with high pitch antraa..
I would love to be in and around a musical group.Infact I also play tabla and love to sing some of the Kishore kumar tracks..

Hope we are getting around to form a musical group..Till then

I have done couple of shows here and I know that they are always looking for good female singers.
I am in for the get together (2 adults, one kid). May be we can make it pot luck. Lets decide and meet together soon otherwise planning will planned for ever............

I agree that i was the one who suggested for a music getogether, im still with it and really wanna make it a success.
Here are some issues which someone from u'll have to volunteer and help with.

1. Place for around min 15-20 people to gather (ofcourse there might be or can be more too)
Suggestion from my side- someone volunteer to lend their basement.

2. Music equipment
does anybody have a proper set up with mic and speakers and an mp3 player, i have my own microphone, but how about have 2-3 mic's so that we can sing duets too, and if we play the music track on and mp3 player or whatever system, but how will the audeince listen to it. (i dont know much of the technicallities please put in ur suggestions.

we can also have people who can play music help us with singing thus this way we can have a live archestra kind of getogether.

3. Whoever volunteers to offers their basement does not has to worry about taking the whole and sole responsibility of people coming over,
Suggestion:- we can all have a potluck, ofcourse we have to think about eatables too right.

4. with everyones consent decide upon a proper day, date and time and lets have everyones email so that once the entire plan is decided we can send out the final email to all and finally meet.

5. friends i live in an apartment here, and i guess it wud be a very small place to have people over, or else wud have loved to host it at my place.



Please PM me with ur emails and about what u all feel about this, so that we can do something concreate soon.

Well, as usual, I will volunteer once again and provide the place and music system (Amp, Speakers, CD player, ONE mic), including a Karoke player to play your disks - I have a really good home theater system for that.

If we do it in the basement, I will need extra chairs ( I can provide about 12) and some carpets/bedsheets. Or if there are just about 10-12 persons, it can be done in my family room which is large enough to accomodate such a crowd.

However, one thing we will have to look for - small children might be problem for a musical evening - that will have to be taken care of.
