Dear All;

Long time before someone would ask, ‘Anybody from India’...there were very few Indians and then started asking for anyone from Gujarat/ Punjab or Bihar. Situation changed further for good (or worse). People started asking 'anyone from Baroda/ Ludhiana or Patna. I tell you friends, if that is the trend of immigration, sometime we will start asking, anyone from Karari Mohalla/ Ward No.5 or Masudan Di Gali...

I was (pleasantly) surprised to find many of my friends already in Canada. Many others are following. In the Brampton area, when our Punjabi brothers organize meat of a particular village they find almost whole village there. Only elders stay behind to look after the live stocks & properties or to receive dollars every month.
