Hi, I posted this in a different thread but i cant wait ask the same here. I apllied for my kid last year and i paid 150 but the application came back asking for option c. It took so much time get and option c from CRA. It is been one year and now i wanted to proceed further. Do i have to pay the 150 fee again? Thanks.

Parents have PR.
child born in India.
can we bring the new born on visitor visa ?
or do we need to sponsor under family visa ?
do we need do the medicals for new born for sponsorship application ?
Advice please.

This is for Shambu

If child is born in India & have enough time, then better to complete Immigration in India only. That will be faster.
Of course u can bring child on Visit to Canada, But after coming here u have to start process. It may take longer.
The case will be refer to New delhi as child born in India
Also Medicals needs to be done in Canada. They have to send reports to Ottawa & Ottawa has to fwd info to New Delhi. Bit complicated.

Also most important is when Visa is ready in India, u have to either send Passport of Child by courier or soem one has to carry Passport in India.

Even after Visa is stamp & all of u r here, child has to exit from Canada.
Options are go to India again or cross Border to US like near Niagara Falls

So think before u decide

wife sponsorship visa still in process CIC ND, child is born,
can we include new born to the application as dependent ?

Hi,
I live in South Africa and we got our PR last year.After stamping our PR status e last year we came back to SA. Our son was born early this year in India and currently he is with us in SA. What are formalities to take him with us when we move to Canada permanently. Is it possible to sponsor him while living in South Africa?

Have been trying to contact the embassy but not much help.Responses appreciated.
