Just a quick q. Why most of us are sticking to TN visa in place of getting a H1 Visa. Coz, the later has better prospects to pursue the Green Card. I feel TN really impedes.

Nope...that's the perception - you just have to find the right lawyer.

I am doing TN->GC without going through the H1B route. H1B is the safest status, but it is still possible to persue the GC while on TN.

I am going to apply for the passport tomorrow in Brampton Office. How long it will take to get the passport? Is there any express service to get it in 2 days? I don't mind to spend additional $200 to get the passport and want to have it in 2-3 days time frame.

These days it is taking a long time to get the passport. There is an express service but I do not know if that will help you these days, because of the sharp increase in the demand to get the new passport.

I applied for my passport yesterday and told them I need to fly to India on friday evening (with itinerary). They collected additional $30 for express service and I can pick up my passport tomorrow(3/21) from Miss office.

One more question. Thursday morning I go to Indian consulate to get the visitor visa. What they ask about my Indian passport? Should I show it to them? Or they will take my Indian passport and keep it with them?

Please advice

Since you became Cdn recently and this is your first time application for the Indian visa, they ask for your Indian passport. They will take it along with your cdn passport and the visa application. They will cancel the Indian passport (with the note "canceled because you acquired cdn citizenship".) and return it to you along with the cdn passport and the Indian visa.
