Hello all
I am being sponsored under spousal category – outside Canada class.
My timeline:
Sponsorship application applied – 14th July
Sponsorship approval (letter recd.) – 31st august
File recd in CHC - New Delhi September 11.
I have received a letter requesting for PCC – UAE on 17th September.
PCC – UAE sent back to CHC - New Delhi on 23rd.
My question is, the letter from CHC – Delhi has an important notice printed on the back that “A request for passport at this time doesn’t mean an issuance of visa. We can hold your passport with us and issue a visa once your application has been finalized” what does this mean? Do I need to send my passport as well? Can someone please help. Any ideas would help.

Once your application is finalized and approved, you will recieve a letter in the mail congartulating you and advising you where to send your passport. You shouldn't send your passport unless you get this letter. Please note that you will need to send a copy of the passport request letter along with the passport.
