Teena was orphaned at the age of four and abandoned by other family members for bringing bad luck to her parents.
But she was lucky to get parental love and affection in Sayyed Shehzad Alam’s family.
A head clerk in the City Railway office, Alam’s two sons Yusuf and Faiz found in Teena a sister and the Muslim family raised the orphan girl as their very own.
She was married to a groom from Jhunjhunu at the city Arya Samaj temple on Sunday with full Vedic customs.
