Hello CD's,
I am located in Etobicoke and wish to change my 4 car tires from the coming Winter season.
Any place where i can get it done at the cheapest price and at the quickest time?
I had been to Costco but those idiots will not accept Walk-In's (etobicoke one). They say that i have to reserve my spot online which is higly inconvinient for me.
I donot mind second hand tires which would come for 1 or 2 years.
Also would like to know where i can change my car battery at the best price.
Thanks in advance for all replies.

TK A

After writing the above post, I went on and ordered the tires in costco by online transaction.
4 tires (incl. Instalation) for Toyota Corolla (cheapest) work out to $389 (with $40) rebate.
Costco offers :
Free balancing, life time flat repair, Lifetime air check etc... I donot know how practical it will be to use these facilities offered.
On site, we may have to pay extra for recycling and other charges. The tires will be delivered in 5 - 10 business days and a phone call will be made to the customer. I then have to fix up a time to get it fixed in my car.
Is this a good deal?
I still require a place for cheap battery change.

Hi,

Try Canadian Tire.

They have some special offers on tyres On and Off.

Battery - they will check your old battery free of charge and
suggest the best buy. They give you a $5 credit for you old battery.

They are open on Sundays 10 to 6 so it will be easy for you to get it
done. Even at CT you need to take an appointment in advance.

(I used to work at CT but not anymore)

Best of luck

Tom

If U have a CAA membership, try them for the battery. The good thing is that, if U have a problem with the battery, they'll come on-site and fix it. I had a problem with my battery on a Sunday afternoon, although on my driveway, they were here in 45 mins, and replaced the battery.

Although Costco too has batteries, but if U have a problem, you'll have to go into Costco to get it resolved.
