Since I proposed this let me be the first to put my familys name forward.
We are look to entertain Students of East Indian Origin from anywhere around the globe to visit us.
We can only accomodate one from out of town and two from toronto or gta.

Students: please Email me - my family is eager to hear your stories and about your family.

Hosts: I posted the original on Dec 3rd. about 180 people have read it and guess what, not 1(one) has decided to welcome our Foreign Student to their homes. the schools and Universities close on the 18th Dec. Should we be ashamed?

Well I did not read this post before... I dont know if it is too late to invite some one. But it is worth trying...

We would like to invite 1-2 East Indian vegetarian students from GTA. I can pick them up and drop them back too.

Veg or non-veg is cool with us so long as the person has no hang ups with non-veg food being served along with veg.

Pick up and drop off can be arranged. Only for meals- no sleepovers.

Can be of any origin not just Indian. Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, Mauritiusian(?), English, French, Canadian, American, Australian, Albanian, Hungarian, alien...

Now seriously...

I had put in this request for invitations in the Life section of the charcha but there were no takers.. So I increased the font to Caps and resubmited the request.

Should we make it a annual thing. When I was a student in England in the 60s there was anEas West Society and the invitaions to foreign students went out each week. to belong to this society there was a one Pound fee for life, and there were newletter etc. Now of course, we have CD doing the good work!

I am glad to inform all of you that we have two Students from Humber College ( a Sri Lankan and an Afghani who speaks Urdu) staying with us and two more
(Seneca & Centenial Collages) coming for meals. I will try to post photos if the guest allow me to.
