I have read that Vancouver has warmest winters in Canada. Are there any other areas of Canada with warm winters ?
Is real estate in Vancouver expensive because of the milder climate ? Also how much more warmer are the winters in Vancouver v/s say Toronto.
Are there any warm or relatively warm places in Ontario ?

Contrary to the constant gripes we hear about winter in Canada and in the GTA, living in Toronto is really not very different from living in the North East(in the US). And of course this winter has been much milder(so far).
Of course it is different from TX but as we know TX got whacked pretty bad this year too.. with the ice etc.
Vancouver had worst weather in the country. Don't get fool by just temp number.
I lived there around 7 months and there is always cloudy/raining/wet in winter (6-7 months). Only summer are beautiful and then city become best part of the world.
Jobwise - There are not too many high paying jobs in Vancouver. People bring money from outside or earn then move to Vancouver. Otherwise mostly people get settle down in chinese or desi ghettos there which having own problems.
i want to ask.if somebody guides me that jobwise and business wise which city is better in toronto and calgary I have heard that the economy is booming day by day in calgary and there are many jobs avaialable in calgary.I am an engineer not PE(professional engineer)Sp I cant do job with my engineering degree unless I take PE exam.I am moving soon .I want to do business . can somebody guide me where to settle . I have had many clients last year who sort of the same professional back ground moved to Calgary. Yes Calgary economy is booming. I am also be in touch with my clients in Calgary and they do not regret a bit moving there. In fact 6 of the couple had a job offer in their hands prior to moving.
