Seema,
Make sure you keep all the points discussed in this thread (including general rules) and you will be okay.
Thanks for the reply. I had few questions. Really appreciate if some can answer them, even if the questions may seem silly to the experienced drivers.
There is a place marked with "School Sign" and right beneath the sign the speed limit is shown as "60". What speed should be maintained there 60 or 40?
Do they take you on 403 or QEW?
How busy are the highways during the afternoons?
Any tips on the parallel parking. I had done it successfully during my G1 exit test, but after that never had any chance to practice it. What are the chances that it will be asked?
I failed G2 licence in Oakville, the reason is that i was too new and the second reason is that the driver who was teaching me driving asked me to pay $500 to the instructor so he can passed me, but i object bribing the instructor then again the driver told me to pay $300 still i did not pay one cent to the instructor. Actually the way it works is the driver will take the money from me and signal the instructor by some body language and he will understand tht i had paid - well since i did not pay him any money the instructor i still remember his name was (Raj) he is a tall darkish complexion guy, was very rude with me when i was driving the car as i was doing very tiny mistake and then he asked me rear parking the car. He failed me one reason i was not confident on the road and second reason he did not get one cent from me.
I passed my licence in MorningSide though the instructor are more strict but the road are very clear during non peak hours.

HI,
Does anybody has G test experience to share....
I am NOT famaliar with Oakville area... so bit neverous ... I have my exam pn Jul-30-09.
thanks for help!
SCS,
In Oakville, apart from the tips provided by desis, be careful of two more aspects:
1. Stay away from bicycle zones i.e. don't ever cross and drive into a lane specially meant for bicycles.
2. Stay away from extreme right lane which has a sign "Right only" if you are told that you need to go straight on and cross the intersection.
Cheers,
AAA
Hey guys,
I have been driving on highways including 401 after getting G2 in ast march.
I am eligible to take full G at any time.
What the examiner will check for full G licence?
My driving instructor told me that while u r waiting to start the test the hand brake also has to be on in your car....is this true.
