Hello Friends,
I am in Canada (PR) from last 3 years. My wife is also here with me. She is expecting a baby now and thats why my parents applied for a visitor visa. My dad was here last year also but this time he has applied along with mom who is coming for the first time. They applied for the multiple entry this time as they are retired and can not afford to travel every time for visa. Actually the visa office is very far from my home town.
My parents applied all the required documents along with the fee but instead of Visa they got a call for an interview. Canadian Consulate wants them to appear for an interview. I don't know why? Does anybody else had a similar experience? What kind of interview this would be? What questions are they going to ask? Can my parents ask for a Hindi interpreter? DO they have to take any documents along with them?
Please suggest. I will be very grateful to you all for your suggestions.

Hi
when ur parents go for Interview, tell them about not disclosing
anything about Ur wife is expecting baby.
There answers shd be logical like visiting children or vacations
I know from my friends Visa rejected due to such reasons.
Officer may feel that ur parents will not come back or some thing like that
Don't worry Interview is just formality
I do hope that u didn't send any documents about ur wife's delivery in Canada
If yes ask them not to submit those documents
Actually, the case has already been submitted by my parents. We also submitted documents related to my wife's pregnancy as this is what was suggested by other people on the forum. I believe its too late to call of those papers and now Parents have to stick with the pregnancy and family reunion.
What kind of questions do they normally ask?
