The HC in Ottawa turns a deaf ear too all complaints and does not even bother giving an explanation on why the fees are higher in Canada. So, I would not be surprised if you do not receive any response to your email.

I had actually written to the CGI Toronto about this a while back. I heard back from them saying that they don't adjust their fees based on the current exchange rate. When I pointed out to them that the Canadian dollar exchange rate had hovered around 80-90 cents to the US dollar for a while now, they said they would still not adjust the CD$421 charged.

Well, i just sent the email as requested by our fellow CD and even forwarded few more friends to send the email
hope we should be together like this in any situation.
