Re- Medical done on Oct-2008.
Nothing happened until April-26,2009( Today).
I sent CAIPS last week(April 15, 2009).
Did you inquired any time during peocess? How?

Visa Received - April 27th, 2009 (CIC kept passport with them for more than 6 Months - for the reason only they know so far)

In between:
I sent Online Staus Update Request on March 13th 2009.
I sent CAPIS Request on April 8th, 2009.

I have a feeling dat one of these two requests triggered the reminder. Online request they say takes 30 working days to process the reply. 30 working days mark was crossed on April 22nd. And we received Passports with the Stamp on April 27th ... hmmmmm
Medical was done on June 13th and the date of arrival should be before June 14th (clearly stated in the letter).

28 months of processing time in Delhi.

All-in-All ... good - long - very long process.
