Have any parents applying from Abu Dhabi or Delhi received the above form? How long back does the form ask the travel history for? Is it since you turned 18? Or is it for the last 10 years? Clarification from someone who has actually received and filled the form would be highly appreciated.

Processing time jumps to 35 months, - sooner will jump to 36 and 37 ....

In place of stopping immigration and getting the vote bank back lash they are creating such hurdles that your parent will get their visas after applying when they are near to death.

The best thing to do is file for immigration when they are 50 and they will get their visa when they are 80.

The moral of story in Canada is never say NO but give 100 reasons or create 50 hurdles.

I wonder what is the new target for applications under "Parents and Grandparents". My parent's application was submitted in July 17, 2007 and hopefully it shouldn't take more than few months.

I had my inlaws file processed in 25 months (Sponsorship approved in Nov 2007). It seems that this all has changed in last 2 year.

Please look up at the previous posts in this thread which clearly document the increasing timelines, which now stands at 35 months for sponsorship approval and 15-24 months for processing in India.
