Hey Guys,
I have landed in Toronto yesterday, and I am looking to buy some Indian food items as well as some cheap household stuff from Dollar Store.
This place is new to me and I don't know how to start and where to go.
I could find lots of addresses from internet and this forum, but how to proceed for going there is still a mystery for me.
I live near to Union Station / Spadina.
I just have this information that I can get a Day pass of Public transport to travel all through the day on it.
Any pointers to where exactly to go and which route to take for Dollar Store and Indian Store.
Your help would be sincerly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

And yes, i forgot to add some power converters for my Indian appliances power pins to Canadian pins.
I am also looking for some resonable Indian Grocery Store in Brampton.

We used to go to Gulmohar Grocery store at Kennedy Road.
There have been recent health advisories about buying personal items from dollar stores that are manufactured in China such as toothpastes.
Dollar store items are generally of low quality. I wouldnt recommend you buy any food/cookies/snacks ... or toothpastes from there.
Its good for other household things though.
