I am in the process of making a group to study for PMP examination. If anyone intrested to join with us pls., let me know. Once we have a group 4/5,
members, I would like to do the following.

1)
Meeting every week or as needed and convenient to other group members.

2) Sharing experiences, and ideas on typical topics which are hard to understand.

3) Making dry learning topics to easy and understandable etc.,

If we are all in local area, we better have phone conversation, that makes our
preparation even better and easy!

What r the requirements for this exam. Who is eligible for this exam. Waht kind odf expereince required. Who is conducting this exam. Is it same for all Provinces. What r fees involve

My intention is to make our preparation easy and intresting. I strongly believe
if we have group study
(ofcourse, all the group members should be serious in prepariton though :-) )

we can interact each other, exchange our ideas/questions/tips or trics etc,.
and we can really focus on where we are weak in terms of preparation and lot many advantages.

Thanks for this initiative . Can I request that this thread be continued and important updates be put not only for the immediate members but also for far flung members (like me ) who have a desire for PMP certification but may not be able to actively participate in the group study due to location constraint .

Are there any effective groups for PMP .

Sudesh , we might be needing a lot of help from you as you can guide us correctly .

I have heard that a couple of companies in India give training on PMP certification which also entitles you to the points that you need for eligibility .

The training that you are referring to is the mandatory 35 hours of training that you have to go through for your eligibility. You can take that training from multiple sources which includes mentors like sudeshsingh to fulfill that criteria. Please note, that most of these options will have a cost. There are professional teams/individuals that charge as high as 2-3K for this training.
