Most people I know prefer live plants. According to me artificial plants do not have the appeal of live plants. IMO The 'cultural preference' of most in the western world leans towards live plants and 'natural beauty'.
Moreover its not just the abstract points like 'appeal' and 'cultural preferences'. Most in the western world know that live plants also cleanup air, regulate humidity etc in an indoor space. Personally I would not keep artificial plants in my office or home(my wife would prolly divorce me).

However, you never know until you have tried something...who knows there maybe a market for it.

Like I mentioned earlier, I haven't being to Canada so I cannot judge about artificial plants renting business but I am DAMN sure it will work out in Canada also. WHERE THERE IS A WILL, THERE IS A WAY.........

After all, drinking COKE (COCA COLA) also has got adverse effect.

What do you pay for renting one live plant per month. Say 4 feet tall.

Is the contract for renting the plant is of 1 year or 2 years?

When do they change the plants i.e. monthly once or twice?

Is any company renting artificial plants in Canada?
