I agree that India should abandon the tour.
Screw the so-called "Gavaskar-Border" trophy.
Neither Gavaskar nor Border deserve to have a series named after them, anyway.
Insult after insult is being piled on the Indian team.
The umpires have caused the game of cricket to go to the dogs, either by intent/corruption or out of sheer incompetency.
I have observed this Bucknor for many years now.
Alongwith the likes of Daryl Hair, he is one of the most biased umpires in the world against Asian teams, esp. India.
Umpires are after all human - they have their own prejudices and secret likes and dislikes.
As for Symonds, well IMO, he /does/ look like a monkey.
What with his painted face, his hair style and his antics on the field, he's not too far from the primates.
Didn't Inzy look and behave like a potato, when he was called so by the Delhi crowd back in 1999 or so?
Maybe Symonds needs to work on his appearance and his attitude.
I am actually looking forward to that rebel cricket academy to take off in a big way and show ICC the dust.
ICC is nothing more than a bunch of bearucratic, officious clowns that have damaged the game more than anything else.
Anyhow, too sad for Bhajji and India - the tour is pretty much toast now as far as India is concerned.

Heard during the audio commentary of the 2nd test. I am not sure it was a joke (as not heard the comments completely) or something else.
They were saying Harbajan said...........teri maa--ki and Symonds thought he said 'monkey'.
Actually, somehow, I think whatever has happened will work against AUS. ICC slapped 3 Test Ban on Bhajji based on inputs from AUS players only. They are the worst behaved team, each n every team has unofficially complained at some period or other. Nothing should now remain on field as far as AUS team concerns.
This is what has happened in the match against team IND -
* Ponting on 10 and Aus 45/2 - Ganguly to Ponting, no run, down leg & edge to Dhoni. NOT OUT
* 193/6 Sharma to Symonds - Caught behind again. NOT OUT
* 238/6 Kumble to Symonds - Dhoni whips the bails off. It's a question for the third umpire. NOT OUT.
* 310/7 Kumble to Symonds - huge appeal for LBW, hit him in front of middle and it was low. NOT OUT.
* 420/7 Harbhajan to Symonds, Dhoni appeals for a stumping but Bucknor, didn't even think of claling for the third umpire, replays show it's out. NOT OUT
* 7/0 Lee to Jaffer, OUT, bowled him! BUT A NO BALL NOT GIVEN
* 183/2 - Singh to Hussey, big noise, Replays suggest that he is out. NOT OUT.
* 250/4 - Kumble to Symonds, massive appeal for lbw as Symonds gets hit on the pad. Bucknor declares not out and stares at Kumble for appealing.
* 115/3 - Symonds to Dravid - OUT, Dravid given out caught behind when he padded up.
* 137/5 - Lee to Ganguly, OUT, Ganguly stands his ground, disgusted. Umpire takes words of Ponting & declares him out.

Reactions & Comments from Kumble were fantastic.

Any comments
Chetan Chauhan, the manager of the Indian cricket team, said that Andrew Symonds said during the hearing that "big monkey" was the word which Harbhajan Singh. Andrew Symonds also has made a statement that Harbhajan Singh hit Brett Lee with a bat on his back and that is what provoked him to speak to Harbhajan Singh and Harbhajan Singh retaliated. The Indian team vehemently say that Harbhajan Singh did not speak the words.
Apparently, the Australian view was taken to be true and India's view including Sachin Tendulkar's view was considered to be not true. There is no audio or video proof and Mike Procter, the match refereee,
says that he believes that Harbhajan said the words.
Why no action is being taken against Andrew Symonds when he started the whole thing? Why Brett Lee did not retaliate when Harbhajan hit him with a bat? Why the umpires or any of the TV commentators did not notice Brett Lee being hit?
India has filed a complaint against Brad Hogg for using abusive language against Anil Kumble and Dhoni. Chetan Chauhan said that he used the word "bastard".
Thanks.
Rajan.
