One A/C unit was installed in my house in June 2007 with '5 years hassle free replacement warranty' and it was faulty. We requested to replace but they were not having any replecement available, so agreed to remove, so it was removed after one week. The unit was financed by a company.
Recently I came to know (after 6 months) that it is still charged to my account and I have to pay by May 2007. The A/C company is not replying email, phone is never answered by anyone from Management. Last time they told me we installed the unit but have no record it was removed.
Luckily, I have their invoice which shows unit was removed. Now they are telling you pay us $1200 for services otherwise we will not romove the amount. This is comlete cheating, they installed a faulty unit which they are not able to repair, so they removed and did not installed replacement.
Can anyone help, advise what to do. I am looking for some legal advise to handle this issue.
