Hi , I lost the "Certificate of Canadian Citizenship" you get at the citizenship ceremony has the text , stating exact date of acquiring the citizenship.
How can I get duplicate copy of that certificate paper?
is that certificate paper must to apply for dual citizenship? please help
HI !
One you are OK without this certificate if you have citizenship card ..
Two to apply for OCI ( Not dual citizenship ) you will need to have a canadian PP ..

Hi ,
I am having the certificate card. But I lost the paper in which it states the date when i received the citizenship.I hope I am clear now.
did any 1 applied dual citizenship with out the canadian certificate paper??? thanks!
Kavi !
You can apply for so called dual citizenship w/o that piece of paper ..
I have clearly mentioned it earlier .. You will never ever need that paper for any formalities in future . it is just for your own records . And yes that paper canot be reissued either .. ( when we were granted citizenship we were specifically told about it ) .
I hope it helps and clarifies your doubts
