HAMILTON is a Steel City. On the left hand side, On the Lake Ontario, which forms a triangle, is the Burlington Bay. In that area, there are two steel mills. They have been identified there as Stelco, and Dofasco. These two steel mills spew out a lot of pollutants. The people who live on the right hand side of the map complain a lot and end up with a lot of breathing problems and ill health. Start of this year they have doubled their production, due to the demand on Steel and its products. So, be guided by it.

If I were you, I will avoid this area {EAST} and move on to the WEST side such as Westdale and the suburbs. If you are driving, then there will be no hassles, because you can drive to the center of the city in twenty minutes, from anywhere.Yes, there are a lot of Desi shops in Stoney Creek and a lot of desis too. So, it is your call and decide for your self after a visit and meeting with a few friends there. {If you have any!}

There are a lot of schools in the area near Westdale. Contact the School board after settling down. They are closing for the summer in about a week. You have ample time to pick one. Make sure this as your first priority, that will keep the other half happy. By the by Westdale is nearer to the McMaster University area.
