Hi group
I applied for my citizenship in Feb 08. I recd an acknowledgement from CIC and nothing else yet. While I was preparing my wife’s application yesterday, I double checked the number of days I was in Canada before I applied in Feb and I discovered that I was only in Canada for 1080 days in the last 5 years. I had overlooked 2 of my trips to the usa when I applied. Now I am not sure how to handle this. What do you guys think I should do. Any suggestion is highly appreciated.
Thanks

Do worry about that. Pretend that it was unintentional. You never realised about this earlier. BTW, by the time you get your test date you would have completed more than 1095 days.
Thanks for your response Desi. I hope it is as simple as you say it is.
Cheers

But this may cause huge delay in your processing. Even if it is dine un intentioanlly, it is a concern. I met a number of people who had to wait in line longer than if they would have waited. You will be require to see an immigration judge. Also the it is clearly mentioned that 1095 days should be completed at the day you are signing the application not the test day. All the best
