I see that you have sufficient proof in your with Passport entries to document arrivals and departures. Organize them in the chronological order. If there is proof of it, then tick mark alongside as having proof. The rest is derived by inference. Skip the week end of January 2009 and submit it on the fifth, Monday. See if it fills in the required 1095 days and then some. That ought to keep them happy.
Now look for a boarding pass-stub, any air miles or affinity group records to add to the documents required as proof. Also see if you can get a printout from the booking agent in India or here for the departure dates with routes. Some times they keep the travel itineraries for years. Also look for Photographs and dates on them if the feature was available in that camera.
You might also have canceled cheques or savings book entries to supplement a few dates. Even credit Card usage for purchases at the airport duty free supplies will support the travel dates. Taxi and limo payments are a few that you can look for. An extra week over and above these calculations will be well worth the wait.
And what ever that you do, Keep photocopies of these documents either in the paper form or retain electronically in a very safe place, just in case they go missing. CYA.
Make a numerical list for the dates, such as 1) Date of departure, India Etc., copy your passport page that has the entry date. On the rear of that document at the bottom hand write the same number and circle the same. If you have more than one document for that date, then add an alphabet such as 1a) and so on and so forth up until the date of submission. Print out the cover page/pages and stack the photocopies behind the covering page and staple them. That makes their life more simple. No questions asked.
It should satisfy them even more and you will come home with flying colours.
Hope this helps a little.
Freddie.
You are not required to provide proof when not asked, as for as I understand the process. When asked, mail it in.

They put you through the hoops and the hurdles. I am just pointing to them. Also play your cards close to your chest, no one need to know your hand.
Good Luck.

when you go for the test, you will have to show your passport which will prove you were not here and intend to not live here. Having said that, it will complicate your case. The best options, survive for 8-9 months right here and wait for the final decission.
Which one is better? Submit proof of absence with the application or not. I mean, is there a problem submitting them?
