how safe our credid card is while using at indian shopping site

my some friends are doing but i want more feedback from CDs. they use -tajonline.com

I don't know about other companies but my Visa card from Scotia is insured .
If any transaction that has not been approved by myself ( when seller is unable to prove it otherwise ) I get all my money back .
The insurance cost me around 2.50 per month ..

Always look for "Verisign" secure before using your credit card.
If a site page displays this sign then your transaction is considered safe.

If ever there is an unauthorized charge on credit card, can't you call the issuer and have the charge disputed?
After that, until the dispute is resolved, you don't have to pay that amount.
How is your insurance different?

I sent Rakhis and gift vouchers through Rediff shopping to India using my TD secure visa card without any problem.
Also its calculated regular exchange rate on that day.
