Is setting up a protest on Facebook / Youtube helpful? Can we do that? Though I m not sure I have ample time to help you with that. To me, an exposure to such issues on Facebook / Youtube would address a much larger audience.

Thanks Senappa for writing a letter to the Toronto Star Editor about Mr. Siddiqui. I just found out from the Forum and soon be doing so, as well. It is my moral obligation. Not only that, will spread the word among our Indian brothers. Keep it up.

Re:Mumbai's great spirit will help city
rise above terror attacks, Nov. 30
Haroon Siddiqui's celebration of Indian and Mumbaikar spirit of healing and rejuvenation is appreciated. However, if you take out a few sentences in the beginning and the end, the article would not be out of place on an al-Qaeda website with its detailed recounting of Muslim suffering in India.
By stoking the victim mentality that has been at the root of terrorist violence everywhere in the world, Mr. Siddiqui seeks to expound that the people in India have got what was coming to them. He also gratuitously snuck in a mention of other local sectarian problems within India, totally out context of this terrorist attack.
This neither helps the cause of justice nor peaceful co-existence in the land that he calls his "former place of living." But, it does not seem out of place coming from a man who was a staunch supporter Gen. Musharraf and remains a critic of the Afghanistan mission.

so any progress on getting haroon's article pulled from site?
No investpro, mine was just two lines saying that the writer justified terror attack. I didnt see it listed in todays paper or online.
