But let me ask everybody on this forum one thing......... How many of you guys want their kids to visit such pubs or clubs where drugs are sold openly ?????
I have even seen everybody on this forum discussing location to buy a house in Canada, concerned about their surrounding. They want their kids to grow around a sober & clean environment. Now imagine you bought a house in a beautiful surrounding & after 5 years there are around 10 clubs & pubs in your area where drugs are sold openly. What are your options ??????? Ofcource you can sell it & go to a different area quietly & peacefully
.

What makes you think India is only about Hinduism? It's a wonderful mix of so many cultures which coexist peacefully
coexist peacefully ?
I seriously want you to give a second thought on this one
I am seriously against all this things which Ram Sena or whatever Sena is doing it.

Who told you drugs are being sold in EVERY pub? Whats wrong if somebody wants to go to a pub and have a few drinks after a hard days work or over a weekend, just to chill with the friends. I don't see anything wrong with pubs coming up in any area as long as they ID people before granting them entry and make sure the decorum on the society is maintained.
Talking about the kids, trust me...they will experiment as they grow up. There is little or nothing you can do about it. You will get to know.

I haven't said anytime that drugs are being sold in every pub.
Read Carefully shotgun.... I asked about the pubs where drugs are sold openly.
I guess the whole issue was about drugs sold in those pubs & not about the drinks sold there.

and do remember pubbing, drinking, taking drugs and dancing half naked with the strangesrs or their so called friends, Valentines' day(in most of the cases it ends in One night stand) is NOT OUR CULTURE.......Please keep that in mind........If you are not aware lemme tell you after a month of Valentines' day Private Doctors make lots of money from the abortion.......
So who thinks the above organizations are doing wrong, I would say they might did wrong but their ultimate goal is to protect Indian culture and Hinduism......there are some bad elements but still if they are not there......Hindus in India will be in minority.......

Culture my foot.
There have been dance bars in India long before the pubs.
Drugs? Not indian culture?
" In contrast to the history of hemp in China, cannabis (bhang, ganja) has been widely used in India throughout its history and down to the present day. In the ancient text Artharvaveda, cannabis is described as one of a number of herbs that 'release us from anxiety'. Various psychoactive preparations containing cannabis were sacred to the gods, particularly Shiva and Indra. One of Shiva's epithets was 'Lord of Bhang'. Cannabis has been widely used in the Tantric tradition as an aphrodisiac incorporated into ceremonial practices. Cannabis seems to have been introduced into south-east Asia around the sixteenth century. Since almost all the common terms for the plant have their etymological root in the Sanskrit word ganja (in Laos hemp is kan xa, in Vietnam can xa, in Thailand kancha or kanhcha, and in Cambodia kanhcha), it is clear that it was under Indian influence that cannabis spread into the region. "
If pre-marital sex was the issue then Navratri celebrations should be banned too...as people have mentioned the rate of abortions goes up after the same.
Alcohol? The issue is probably that men feel threatened if women openly consume alcohol.
Its a 'control' issue more than anything else.
