transferring money from India

I have a nre account in with icici bank in India.
I would like to transfer some money into my canadian account.Please suggest what would be the best approach to adopt. I am currently in Ontario. Thanks.

1. U can ask your bank in India to wire transfer the money to your account in Ontario .
2. Have them issue a DD in your name and send it by post to you .

I had my NRE account with Deutche Bank in Delhi and received money using both of ways listed above .
Hope it helps a little ...The other method we all know and starts with letter "H".
