hi
I got my daughter's ears pierced last sunday. today one of the earrings fell off. We tried putting it back by ourselves but did not succeed as it was very painful for her.
what should i do now? Should I go back to them and get it pierced again on the same spot. any suggestions!!!!!!!

Hi !
We were in a similar situation before.. The best line of approach is to wait till your daughter is asleep and then dip the ear ring in coconut oil + drop a spot of oil in the pierced ear home and insert it. You must do it within one or 2 days or the ear will close (It generally takes 6 months for the hole to be permanent).
We were able to do it after 3 days of the ear ring falling off (after 1 month).
If you take your daughter to the piercing centre now, then your daughter will start to scream and it will be very had to control her. So it is in your best interests to do it while she is sleeping at home.
After inserting the earring, we slightly bent the earring, so that the it will not fall of in the future. We have used the same earring for 3 years without cleaning it anytime.
Hope this helps.

You can pierce ears at all St. Claires or Claires (I donot remeber the exact name) stores which are located at all big malls.
There is one in Sq. 1 and another in Dixie Outlet mall as I know it.
Once you buy ear rings (starts from $25) , piercing is free + they give you 2 bottles of ear lotion.
Try to see if the piercer is a non smoker. In our case, it was smoker and her hand were shaking and she actually pierced one year off centre (it was done at the second attempt as the first one did not succeed). FYI , we did it at Dixie mall. Also in our case, we were told to come after 2 hours due to the long line up. So you might want to work around that senario.
Hope this helps.
