DATING TIPS

Online dating is supposed to be anonymous, at least in the beginning, but when you live in the same city as the people in your dating pool -- and let's hope you do -- you're bound to have locked eyes with at least a few of your potential matches in real life.

Despite the fact that Internet romance has become a socially acceptable norm, most people are still at least a little hesitant to admit they've turned to the tubes for love. It's something many of us do, but no one's chomping at the bit to announce it to the class. Imagine the awkwardness, then, when someone you know shows up among your matches. Get ready for it, because it's bound to happen and can be handled in one of several ways:

* If it's someone you're attracted to: You must be livin' right, because Fate has just handed you the perfect opportunity to make small talk and see if they've been eyeing you back. I'm envisioning a playful email expressing your utter surprise that they're doing the online dating thing and subtly hinting at your interest in turning a casual acquaintance into something more permanent. Either way, you get to open the door and see if they sail through.

* If it's someone you've met in passing but don't want to go out with: The polite thing to do is move on. There's no need to belabor the point that neither of you has a significant other by contacting him or her through the dating service or bringing it up during casual party conversation. If that person wanted everyone to know they were looking online, they would have brought a megaphone and broadcasted it to the room. Pretend you never saw their profile, and hope they're courteous enough to do the same for you.

* If it's someone you hate: The danger of online dating is that you're likely to come across someone you'd rather not have seen, like an ex. The beauty is that you get to do so in the privacy of your own home, and no one ever has to know -- least of all the object of your disgust. If the very sight of a profile makes your face contort in horrible and extremely unattractive ways, it's probably safe to say you don't want to date the person it belongs to. It's also probably safe to say you don't want them knowing you're on the site too, so the best thing to do is block them immediately and without hesitation. Believe me, they'd thank you for it, if the two of you were still speaking.

What's the point of your post?
And please don't post under the immigration category unless it's related to immigration.

Has anyone ever been lucky to meet girls on dating sites? I am very unlucky in dating girls online, on social networks or on dating sites. I dont know why, I try to be polite, pleasant, write without errors, but I still feel some kind of barrier between the woman and me. xxxxxxx On this site recently I read a lot of reviews and information about sites and how best to behave with a girl on the network. What do you say about this?

THEY ARE RUNNING THIS WEBSITE TO SUCK THE BLOOD OUT OF YOU.
When you chat you are chatting with a 300 pound of fat lump of you know what!! None of them are real.

But of late a few of them appear and chat with you in real time web cam. Things are changing a little bit.

Half of them can't speak English. So you only get to see them flirting with you. The girls get a share of the spoils too. They don't want to meet you nor move out of the country. So, you know that they take your money and call it a date.

It will be the best idea to behave like a gentleman.

Keep us updated if you get lucky.

AN INTERESTING DEVELOPMENT IN DATING.:

The Federal Trade Commission sued online dating service Match Group, Inc. (Match), the owner of Match.com, Tinder, OkCupid, PlentyOfFish, and other dating sites, alleging that the company used fake love interest advertisements to trick hundreds of thousands of consumers into purchasing paid subscriptions on Match.com.

The agency also alleges that Match has unfairly exposed consumers to the risk of fraud and engaged in other allegedly deceptive and unfair practices. For instance, the FTC alleges Match offered false promises of guarantees, failed to provide services to consumers who unsuccessfully disputed charges, and made it difficult for users to cancel their subscriptions.

We believe that Match.com conned people into paying for subscriptions via messages the company knew were from scammers, said Andrew Smith, Director of the FTCs Bureau of Consumer Protection. Online dating services obviously shouldnt be using romance scammers as a way to fatten their bottom line.

Here on this website 'MONICA' knows best. If I am not supposed to provide you a good link, And when I do, then, she can remove it and edit my posts too. Sorry Monica.

Here is a REVIEW ABOUT ONE SUCH GROUP. They are for real. You may have to do the travel when they hold their meetings. They hold a few of them, so study the review and watch out for their announcements and look out for the exact dates and locations then follow it up.

Hope you get LUCKY.

My apologies Fullhouse - your posts are very informative and a great asset to the site. I might have inadvertently removed links from one of your posts. I dont really click on most links included in replies of the posters - they are usually self promoting. Might have failed to notice your name before deleting.

Please accept my sincere apologies.

Dear Monica,

If my post contain explicit material and is offensive to this website posting rules, please do REMOVE them. I follow the decorum and your rules.

Some times I post a link to one such posting and/or website to provide extremely useful information and a few seem to monopolize on it. That brings in a lot of traffic and you can see count increasing along with the traffic.

At times it might be collusive with the ADS that you promote. So you are free to remove them and clean the posting.

Of late my visits to the website here are far a few and it is dwindling from time to time. If postings that require my attention drops further, I might take a SABBATICAL OR EVEN A FURLOUGH and hang my hat. I want to see a few who can take over and provide proper guidance and/or a few to return who can do the needful.

I am way ahead in my THESIS and want to work harder to complete it earlier and provide my family a GREAT future and if it trickles down to the CD Group, then let them also reap the benefit after that.

You will be then presented with an opportunity to recommend me to avail the HONORS and I hope the community will stand behind me and cheer me all the way.

No hard feelings from any posts that I encounter here. At the same time, I would love to post responses, highly suitable to the queries posted here and keep the poster well informed and up to date. That is why we see them return here and the traffic mounting upwards.

Cheers.

Freddie the FULL HOUSE.
