Hi all,
Plan to assemble a desktop. Do you think
1. buying components from America (Buffalo or Detroit?) would be cheaper?
2. where in Buffalo, should I buy them from?
Rgds,
New
What is your location if you are a hop away from the border from US then I think that will be a good choice... otherwise it is not a good idea as when you face a not working part or a part which goes bad in some time then you would have to go back to get it replaced... I have personally been buying stuff for myself and many of my friends from http://www.tigerdirect.ca" rel="nofollow">LINK and http://www.newegg.ca" rel="nofollow">LINK and I am very happy about it as they have a good replacement policy and also a good return policy. Now since I have faced good then it does not mean other have too...many people might have faced a bad experience....
End of the day if you are a technical person you will know the difference.... and the prices would not be much a difference between Canada and US...I think not more than 25 CAD....that you might land up spending to and fro from there....
Have fun....
Try buying parts from BC. You'll save one tax if you are a non BC resident.
They often have free shipping offers.
TDdirect, Direct Canada and NCIX are some popular stores in BC.
