Hi,
I am in Toronto and I need to pick up my relatives from the Buffalo Airport on a Saturday at 11.00am . They are travelling from Boston.
I wish to know :
1. The time should I start from Toronto to reach there comfortably?
2. The route I should take to reach there,
3. A place where I can park the car before I pick them at the terminal, and
4. Any other nuances I should be aware of.
Thanks,
MG.
1. You should map and time it to know. I would put 2 hours from Mississauga + border wait time. There is a website to check the status on border waiting.
2. The Peace Bridge is good one for airport.
3. There is a short term parking right on the airport. Airport is really small and you should not worry much about it. If you wish to use the nearby plaza etc, you can find many of them.

I believe parking upto 2 hours is free. Also free shuttle services are available from long term parking lot to terminal. I have been there last week and it took me almost 1 hour on a friday afternoon to cross the border. You can expect some delays due to construction too.
Thanks folks.
For the benefit of other CDs, a few minor points I experienced during this trip.
1. We had to wait at the border, Peace Bridge, for about an hour as our 'white slips' had expired. This piece of paper is attached in your passport. It has a six month expiry. Otherwise we would have been cleared faster.
2. There are are two types of parking facilities at the Buffalo airport: Short term and long term.
The short term parking facility charges fees.
A long term facility allows free parking for 2 hrs or less. You pay when leaving the facility.
There are two long term facilities : A and B. These long term facilities have free shuttle bus service. Once you park your car there, you can call for a bus from bus stands there, and the bus reaches there within 6 minutes. It takes about 5 minutes from a long term facility to the terminal.
You also get a shuttle bus from the terminal to the long term parking facility.
