I am wondering what would be the best place to get my wife trained in hair cutting ? She does not have any prior skills however is very much interested in gainging this skill but i am not able to find schools that practically train you on all aspects of hair cutting (and other related skills)

Does any one have information on as to what would be the best place to go and get this education from, and how much would be the cost for that. does any of the CD's know somone who has done a course like that and what is the market like outside once you know how to cut hair and perform hair dressing.

Thanks :)

If you dont care about your hair style much and want a generic hair cut, Take TTC bus 72 from Pape and get off at Gerard, (close to gerard square) - there are a couple of shops one named "italian hair design" - charge $7 for men's haircut +tip so its the cheapest you could get ! Dont hold me responsible if you do not get satisfied by the end result though !

there are many private schools.hair dressing is a licensed trade. The best wud be aveda which is international but its very expensive.Only niagara and barrie have community college which is not expensive.Job wise they dont make much money ,they make 10 to 15 per hour ,only the plus is they can work for themselves after some years of experience.

THank You Sivakasi, that is actually the intent. I was wondering if i would be able to source Second Career funding for this school, I will certainly check this school out.
